I recently found a great site called DadCanDo.com. Lots of fantastic projects. I was especially interested in the the one on making magic wands. I won't repeat the instructions here as they do a great job, but I thought you might like to see my results. To see their page just google "dadcando wand" and hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button.
